Filmed at the show unit in August 2026, while the project was still being built. Finishes, prices and surroundings may have changed since.
What sets it apart
Senna Heights is two leasehold towers, 780 units on 6.5 acres with 18 shop lots in front, and will be the tallest building in Damansara Damai. The drop-off sits at the back for privacy, with a lawn, trails and kids' play by the entrance. The deck has a 100 m pool, an elevated gym, a half basketball court and a maze garden, and the rooftop looks over forest reserve on every side.
Each tower has four lifts for 10 units a floor, all facing north or south. Sean tours Type A, a 1,464 sq ft corner unit with three bedrooms, a flexi room and two bathrooms, a separate wet kitchen and yard, and a 6.6 m-wide living and dining area; the flexi room comes without walls, for buyers to enclose. At about RM600 psf, it costs around RM800,000.
Where it is
Damansara Damai is tucked between forest reserves and highways including the LDP and NKVE, reached from Jalan Kuala Selangor. A one-way ring road now carries traffic in and out; at the morning rush Sean took about 8 minutes to reach the main traffic light. Damansara Damai MRT station is about 8 minutes' drive, served by a developer shuttle, and runs to TRX without a change of line.
A proper wet kitchen, at last
Type A separates the dry kitchen from an enclosed wet kitchen and yard, delivered with a sliding door and cabinets, the first dedicated wet kitchen Sean has seen from this developer. With the landscape-format living area and a wide balcony over the forest, he calls it their best layout yet.
3 on 3
The three things Sean likes and the three he doesn't, from his own list at the end of the episode.
- 1Designed for own stay: a hidden location, residential access kept apart from the shops, a drop-off at the back, 780 units on 6.5 acres all above 1,000 sq ft, a 100 m pool and a rooftop over the forest. The kids' lawn by the entrance greets you every time you come home.
- 2Type A, perhaps the developer's best layout yet: a recessed foyer, a landscape-format living, dining and dry kitchen against a wide balcony, and its first proper wet kitchen behind a partition, with a yard. The flexi room comes open, so buyers add the walls and door themselves, as the sale agreement states.
- 3The developer's track record: a former contractor that keeps its sales gallery on site, with construction nearing podium level. Its completed projects match their show units, cabinets and wardrobes included, and this one is going for GreenRE certification.
- 1One way in and out of Damansara Damai, through the same traffic light onto the highway. The one-way ring road has helped: at the morning rush Sean took about 5 minutes to the McDonald's and 8 to the traffic light, busy but moving. It suits those who work from home.
- 2First impressions: an older area of public housing, low-cost flats and sewage and water treatment plants, though the MRT has brought new projects. Sean prefers being some distance from the station, with a shuttle, and deeper in are attractive landed homes and townhouses.
- 3It stands apart from its older surroundings, whose rents can't justify its price, so it is not a cash-flow investment. In time it may draw owners upgrading from older apartments or downsizing from landed homes.
A strong own-stay choice at about RM600 psf for a family that works from home, if Damansara Damai suits you.
